May I introduce myself and my practice?

 

I am a psychologist with more than 15 years experience.  Prior to that, I was a teacher, working in Primary and Secondary schools, and lecturing at a TAFE College.  Currently I am engaged for one semester to tutor in Teaching Students with Learning Difficulties at the University of Southern Queensland, Fraser Coast campus.

 

Most of my work as a psychologist has been in Private Practice:  Melbourne (Kay Morgan & Associates), the Gold Coast (Kay Morgan & Associates), and the Fraser Coast (Desley Fraser & Associates).  The exception was when I moved to Maryborough to establish a full time Child and Youth Mental Health Service at Community Health.  I ran the service for four years, initially as a sole practitioner, and later as acting Team Leader.

 

Over the past 20 years I have worked as a service provider under the Medicare Provisions for Psychologists, and for Queensland Health, Queensland Correctional Services, Commonwealth Rehabilitation Service,  WorkCover Queensland and other rehabilitation providers, and the Wide Bay Division of General Practice Association Inc.

 

I hold the following Qualifications, registrations and memberships:

Full registration with The Psychologists Board of Queensland:

Member of the Australian College of Clinical Psychologists

Member of the Australian Psychological Society
